Scaling Up: Skills for Employability, Social Stability and Economic Development – “SESSED”
“SESSED” Project overall goal “Human security of labour force and vulnerable families, challenged by privatization, economic reform and instability of business environment, are improved in target communities through participatory socio-economic development”. The project seeks to contribute to scale-up skills and develop career path of workers and employees in the public sector and the public private companies to increase their productivity, labour standards, and their employability as well as increasing their capacities to manage career shifts and social unrest in case of adopting tough economic reforms. The project was supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Cairo
The project targeted Six Labour Unions at the sectors of health care, chemicals and petrochemicals, daily labour, housing technicians, textile and ready-made garments.
